AirCargo 2026 was truly a fantastic experience. The days were filled with sessions from industry speakers in air cargo and freight forwarding, exploring the exhibitor floor and checking out company booths, and genuinely engaging with our clients—a well-rounded mix of everything.
One of the highlights was finally meeting our clients face-to-face. Connecting with Ally, Brandon, and Joe at the AfA, Robert and Venu at Tag-n-Trac, and all the Tenet team was exciting. There’s a different dynamic when putting a face to a name after only knowing someone through a screen.
I also spent a lot of time observing and absorbing everything, especially watching Scott Case, Founder and Chief Storyteller at Position : Global do his thing. He’s genuinely the most charismatic and approachable person in any room at any time. The industry already knows him, and for those who don’t, he makes an immediate connection.
It’s clear why P : G has such a strong client base. What truly sets it apart is Scott’s firsthand industry experience, giving P : G a competitive edge that other marketing agencies can’t mimic. Throughout the event, he was constantly creating content, recording sessions, and producing marketing materials. The work never stopped.
Our VP of Marketing, Doug Davila, was impressive, too. He was directly applying his marketing expertise to real client conversations, explaining how P : G’s services could genuinely benefit their businesses.
It was marketing in action and a major learning experience in what true networking and business development look like. I was proud to introduce myself as the Junior Account Executive for P : G and highlighted why we are a top choice for companies in the air cargo industry, especially emphasizing Scott’s unique industry experience that sets us apart.
Two sessions really stood out. Kendra Tanner, President and CEO of Allstates WorldCargo, gave the opening keynote, which was genuinely inspiring. She shared her journey from the bottom of the industry to becoming a President and CEO.
Listening to her stories about overcoming obstacles like losing her father, late nights, and sacrifices with family time painted a picture of someone who refused to give up. She has consistently excelled in every role, earning her position today. We need more women in this industry, and she is a powerful voice for them all.
Brian Clancy’s session on Tuesday, Reading the Signals: Airfreight Market Outlook and Economic Trends, was full of valuable data and insights into the industry over the past few years and its prospects. His optimistic outlook provided a great energy boost for everyone.
The conference also featured some excellent panels, including Truck Fraud in Freight: Protecting Cargo Supply Chains, AI, Automation, and Connectivity: The Future of Smart Air Cargo Operations, and The Blessing and the Curse of Transporting Dangerous Goods.
The evenings were equally memorable. Tuesday night was my favorite part of the trip. We went to Disney Springs for dinner and bowling with the Tenet team and Doug, which was a lot of fun: great food, great company, and just a genuinely enjoyable night.
On the bus ride back to the hotel, everyone was singing karaoke together. That moment really showed the unity and connection within this industry, emphasizing what makes an event like this so special.
Overall, AirCargo 2026 was an incredible first conference—great sessions, amazing people, and a powerful reminder of what effective business development and marketing look like when executed properly.
