Challenge
The International Air Cargo Association of Chicago is a trade association representing air freight forwarders, truckers, airlines and others in the air cargo supply chain in Chicago dating back to the early days of O’Hare International Airport.  Before Position : Global, the IACAC site featured basic information, a link to register for events and basic news posted by the group.
Solution

Following discussions with their vision for the site and the way they wanted to engage their current members and recruit others, P:G set about creating a WordPress site that incorporates membership and event management, online payment of dues and event registrations, provides a photo gallery, integrates with their social networks and provides the Association with sponsorship opportunities that are integrated in the site’s design and are done tastefully and in the design spirit of the site.

Position : Global writes their monthly member newsletter “The Pallet” and manages their Facebook page, Twitter account and LinkedIn group.

Position : Global also creates artwork that is used in print and on the website to promote special events such as their annual golf outing, scholarship, holiday luncheon and other events. Position : Global also creates and posts events in Event Espresso for their monthly luncheons and manages the email campaigns to promote all the events.
