In March, 2013, Scott Case was the featured speaker at the monthly educational series hosted by the Atlanta International Forwarders and Brokers Association. Speaking before a crowd of more than fifty people from the logistics industry, Scott discussed social media for logistics companies covering topics from email newsletters to website design and understanding and engaging clients in social media.
“After this session our board received numerous comments about this session and the value they took away. Understanding how to properly use social media to promote individual companies is critical in this era,” said Pam Brown, past president of AIFBA.
Position : Global then got the call when it was time for AIFBA to create a new website and they were responsible for designing and delivering a new site in 2014 that provides the functionality for them to manage events, collect dues and have a private section of the site where members can see documents and presentations from AIFBA-sponsored events.
A new desktop website with a job board, members-only content, and online membership registration and renewal brings AIFBA fully into the digital age.
